Hi, I’m LaShae, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and founder of Bright Pathways Mental Health.

After 14 years as a registered nurse, I noticed something powerful: true healing always began with mental wellness. Whether my patients were in hospitals, nursing facilities, or at home, those with strong mental health support made the best progress. I also found that those who experienced past trauma faced symptoms in their mind, body, and relationships that impacted quality of life. That realization inspired me to pursue my MSN at Herzing University and specialize in psychiatric care. Now, after 18 years in the nursing field, I am excited to provide specialized care through private practice.

My nursing background gives me a holistic perspective as a PMHNP. I’ve worked in Step Down Neuro ICU, home health, and case management, This experience allowed me to learn how the brain, body, and environment all shape well-being. I’m trained in trauma-informed care, integrative psychiatry, and I use tools like GeneSight testing to tailor treatment.

My Philosophy

I believe in treating the whole person. Your sleep, stress, relationships, and routines matter as much as your symptoms. I combine evidence-based psychiatry with compassionate, collaborative care to help you reach your goals and rediscover balance.

Beyond the Practice

Outside the office, I enjoy scuba diving, tending to my plants, practicing yoga, and spending time with my husband and our beagle. I believe in living the wellness I encourage in others.
